A more contemporary slant to Cambridge music making, brough up to date with this performance.

The musicians have been working with students on composition for the voice today, and one of the works will from that session will be performed in this evening's concert.

Berio's Sequenza III is something of a cult piece, made famous by Cathy Berberian, but hardly ever performed. (It's hard!)
