In Memoria is a programme devised by Edward Wickham, director of The Clerks, and Antony Pitts, composer of Thou wast present on this day. The other music is by three giants of Renaissance music: Dufay, Josquin and Ockeghem. The programme was first performed in 2008 in some unusual spaces, including Victorian pumping stations and the Victoria Baths in Manchester.

Coupled with the Renaissance music is a work written specially for In Memoria by Antony Pitts, which combines the voices of The Clerks with those of young children, pre-recorded onto an atmospheric tape.

We believe In Memoria will be a very fitting event for Remembrance Sunday afternoon. We are fortunate to have permission to put this event into the stunning surrounds of the Judge, where the singers will progress throughout the high atrium in the centre of this award winning building.
